40th Congress of the International Society of Oncology and Biomarkers (ISOBM)

The 40th ISOBM Anniversary Congress will take place in Jerusalem, Israel,

October 13- 17, 2012.

On behalf of the ISOBM Board and the Organizing Committee of our 40th ISOBM Anniversary Congress, we are pleased to invite you to participate actively at this Congress.


We anticipate a highly successful and exciting Congress focusing on basic, translational and clinical Cancer Research. Participants will have the opportunity to present and discuss their data, exchange ideas and expertise in an international framework, meet and network with colleagues from around the world and listen to lectures delivered by prominent Opinion Leaders in the Cancer field.

With your participation, contribution and activity, we hope to cover the full range of innovations in Cancer Diagnostics, BioMarkers and Cancer Therapy (new approaches as Small Molecules, Therapeutic Antibodies, Immuno-therapeutics, Large Biomolecules, etc.), to facilitate discussion and collaboration between early stage companies that are developing innovative products and technologies – all will contribute to a most successful meeting.

We will offer most interesting presentations by Invited Opinion Leaders, as well as Oral Presentations or Poster Sessions to be selected from the submitted Abstracts, Clinical Workshops and Round Tables.

The congress city, Jerusalem, situated high in the Judean Hills, is one of the most extraordinary cities in the world, established 3000 years ago by King David.
Jerusalem presents a unique combination of ancient history, spiritual sanctity and colorful cultures. Jerusalem is a fascinating city of many contrasts and diversities. It is a city where old and new, holy and secular, pure nature and beautiful architecture mix into magical harmony of smells, sounds and sights.
Sacred to the world's three main monotheistic religions, Jerusalem is a captivating city, whose visitors are left touched and inspired by the shining glow of its religious shrines of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, picturesque scenery and magnificent golden limestone.
Jerusalem is also the Capital of Israel, home to the Israeli Parliament (Knesset), the President's Residence and the Government offices.

SPECIAL JOURNAL ISSUES

ICBCBBE 2012 has teamed up with the
International Journal of Medical and Biological Sciences for publishing a Special Journal Issue on Advances in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Biomedical Engineering. All submitted papers will have opportunities for consideration for this Special Journal Issue. The selection will be carried out during the review process as well as at the conference presentation stage. Submitted papers must not be under consideration by any other journal or publication. The final decision will be made based on peer review reports by the guest editors and the Editor-in-Chief jointly.
