International symposium cum training workshop on
Recent Trends in Bioinformatics, System Biology and Biomolecular Interactions

About the Symposium :
The Center of Bioinformatics is going to organize a 3-day Symposium on “Systems Biology and Biomolecular Interactions” for the benefit of teachers/researches/students from January 8-10, 2012. The program consists of a good blend of lectures, discussions and hands-on sessions, conducted by experienced staff and the alumni of the Center from Czech Republic ( S. K. Mishra), Italy ( A, Bhattacharya, A. Bajpai, D. Kumar & S. Chaurasia) Japan ( V. Gupta) and France (R. Singh). The practical training program will enrich the knowledge and broaden the research aptitude of participants undergoing this training course in Biomolecular Interactions with special hands-on session on “ In silico Protein Engineering” by Sushil K. Mishra.Advance Lectures will be delivered by Prof. Bruno Samori, Prof. Ashok Sharma, Prof R. S. Verma Prof. Ajit Saxena,  Prof. D. Velmurugan, and IIDS alumni Drs Sushil K. Mishra, Shailendra Asthana, Deepak Gupta, Amiava Bhattacharya, Archana Bajpai, Shilpi Chaurasiya, Anil Tomar, Bipin Singh, Vipul Gupta, Rhaghavendra P.Singh, Sudhanshu S. Srivastava, Sudeep Roy, Dhruv Kumar and other
Important points:
a. Last date of receipt of applications (including on line submission through email) is 20th December 2011.

c. candidate will be informed about his/ her selection in the workshop by email, fax or phone.
d. Participants should submit application in proper format and register early to confirm the spot.
e. In case of last minute cancellation by the selected candidate due to some unavoidable circumstances, the organizer may kindly be intimated by email/ fax or phone by 20th December 2011 so that participants in waiting list can be accommodated.
f. The registration fee is non-refundable.
g. A limited accommodation is available in the University Guest House (UGH). Those desirous of accommodation in UGH must enclose a separate DD for Rs 1000 as accommodation fee.
i. It is recommended to bring your own notebooks (OS: Linux/Unix) during the hands-on session.

Qualification & Experience :a. Faculty from Universities and constituent/ affiliated colleges, Scientists, Scholars from R & D institutes, professionals from Industries and biotech companies
b. Postgraduate students holding Graduate/ Master’s
c. Doctorate in any branch of biological sciences can apply.
