COURSE OBJECTIVES The
one day course Short term course on “Research Methodology, Techniques
of Writing Research Articles and PhD Thesis Preparation” is designed to
impart knowledge of research objectives, research methods, research
tools and techniques, literature review, technical writing and
presentation skills to the young researchers and faculty members
pursuing Research. This course is intended to provide the participants
with a broad overview of research methods and techniques of writing
Research articles for SCI Journals. They will also be able to better
understand the Regulations of Anna University regarding Research.

· Literature Review for Research Design and Data interpretation
· Quantitative and qualitative Tools and Techniques for data collection and analysis

COURSE REGISTRATION The
short course is open to PhD Research scholars of Anna University or
other Universities currently pursuing Research. Registration to the
Course is Free and the maximum number of participants will be limited to
FIFTY, on first cum first serve basis in line with the criteria prescribed by UGC for selection of participants.

materials and Refreshments including Lunch will be provided free of
cost to all the participants. The participants should make their own
arrangements for travel and their stay.
Participants who satisfactorily complete the course will be issued a certificate of
