Scope of Training
Hands on training on both fundamental and advanced-level Molecular Biology Fermentation Technology and Bioinformatics will be conducted by Department of Biotechnology, CET during 6th-12th February, 2012. This course aims to provide exposure to Molecular Biology, Fermentation Technology and Bioinformatics. Experts in field of Biotechnology both from academic and research will be involved as resource persons. Experiments will be conducted in small groups under the expert supervision where individual participants will follow experimental protocol designed in different areas. Upon completion of this course, one will have an understanding of techniques that are currently being utilized in the biotechnology and allied areas.
Eligibility
The course is open to students, research scholars and faculty members engaged in study/research in biotechnology, microbiology, molecular biology, pharmaceutics and life sciences. However preference will be given to those who are pursuing research in Biotechnology and allied subjects.
Total sixteen numbers of participants will be trained.
Registration Fees
Registration fees of Rs 5,000.00 will be charged from each of the participants.
(Registration fee includes registration kit, laboratory manual, tea and working lunch.) The Demand draft should be in favor of “HOD, Department of Biotechnology, CET” payable at Bhubaneswar. DD of non-selected candidates will be returned. No accommodation will be provided to participants during the training period.
