The training programme would focus on
# Determination of proteins and select amino acids by different methods (colorimetric, titrimetric, fluorescence, dye binding methods)
# Evaluation of non-nutrient factors such as trypsin inhibitors, haemagglutanins, saponins, tannins, phytates, glucosinolates, allylisothiocyanates, raffinose and stachyose by colorimetric chromatographic methods
# Nutritional quality evaluation of proteins in foods
# Functional properties of proteins in foods
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : Knowledge of the subject under focus, preferably a basic degree. The medium of presentation and interaction is in English.

TRAINING FEE OF Rs. 7,250/- (INCLUSIVE OF FOOD & ACCOMODATION)
Training charges may be paid in the form of DD favouring “Director, CFTRI, Mysore”
