INVITATION
We extend our cordial invitation to attend DBT sponsored 3rd National seminar on COMPUTER AIDED DRUG DESIGN to be organized by SVIMS Bioinformatics Centre, SVIMS University, Tirupati from 29th to 30th December 2011.
ABOUT THE SEMINAR
The main objective of the National seminar is to bring together scientists, researchers, students from academic and corporate companies to share their research experiences in the field of molecular modeling and drug design. The participants will get opportunity to enlighten their bioinformatics skills to implement in their respective research field. Researchers will also be encouraged to present their research works.

CALL FOR POSTER
Scientific abstracts with maximum 250 words are invited for poster presentation. The abstract must include title, authors (underline the presenting author) and affiliations. The poster should reflect one of the following themes.
• Genomics and proteomics
• Molecular modeling
• Drug design and development
• Vaccinology
Abstract should be submitted through E-mail to svims.btisnet@nic.in by 15th December 2011. Selected abstracts will be notified to corresponding authors by 18th December 2011. The last date for registration is 20th December 2011. At least one author must register and attend the seminar.
Best poster awards will be given to innovative posters based on originality of the work as per recommendations of a jury panel.
ELIGIBILITY
Staff, Students, Research Scholars working in the area of Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Computational Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacy and various other branches of Life Sciences is invited to attend the seminar.
REGISTRATION FEE
Rs. 800/- for staffs
Rs. 500/- for students
The registration fee includes Seminar Kit, working lunch and tea for two days of the seminar. Participants are requested to send the registration form available in this brochure. Participants can also register online at http://svimsbic.org/register.html. The registration fee should be paid by cash or in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of the organizing secretary, Coordinator of BIF, SVIMS University, Tirupati, on or before 20th December, 2011.
ACCOMMODATION
Outstation candidates will be given accommodation upon prior request with nominal charges.
