INTRODUCTION
In
vitro screening is a crucial part of the preclinical drug discovery.
The in vitro screening determines the efficacy and safety of a drug
molecule before it is taken further for pre clinical or clinical
studies. Enzyme target based screening is one such example which has
been used by the nutraceutical and drug discovery companies.
Natural Remedies brings you an opportunity to learn and explore this facet of drug discovery through a One day workshop at our R&D center.

WORKSHOP DETAILS
Hands on workshop on 17th September 2011
Workshop will be held in two sessions:
Theoretical session: (9.00am – 12:30pm)
· Primary screening and role of bioassays in screening
· Target based screening of drug molecules
· In vitro screening of pharmacological compounds using bioassays
· Data analysis using various statistical software programmes
Lunch: 12:30-1:00 pm
Practical session: 1.00 - 5:30pm
· Performing absorbance/fluorescence/luminescence based in-vitro screening
· Data analysis
· Report generation and documentation of results
Certificates will be issued to students at the end of this session
