Bringing together human and veterinary influenza researchers
The Oxford influenza conference, Influenza 2012, will address most aspects of basic and applied research on zoonotic and human influenza viruses and their medical and socio-economic impact. The conference invites proposals for podium presentation and posters in the following general areas:-
- Molecular virology and immunology
- Antiviral drug development and treatment strategies, including vaccination
- Host-pathogen interaction - virulence and pathogenecity
- Epidemiology and evolution
- Mathematical models
- National and international surveillance and contingency strategies
- Advances in viral detection and identification technologies
