IMS
society established in 1990, provides global & high quality
education in engineering, technology and management as well as life
sciences. In 2002, IMS Society added another feather to its cap by
establishing IMS Engineering College. IMSEC is one of the top-notch
engineering colleges of the entire NCR of Delhi by virtue of its ISO
9001:2008 level quality technical education & 100% employability
prospects of its students. In less than a decade, IMS Engineering
College has crossed many significant milestones.
About Department of Biotechnology:
The
focus of the department includes academic excellence by
hands-on-training and challenging young minds through quality education
and innovation and advancement of technology through research. The
department offers both graduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate programs
(M.Tech.) and comprises of 15 highly motivated faculty members from
diverse streams and specializations. The department
is engaged in collaborative project with IIT Roorkee, AIIMS New Delhi,
ICPO Noida, DRDO Delhi, IET Lucknow, Sugar & Distillery Industries
etc. Currently, the alumni hold positions in R&D organizations,
industries and universities all over the world.
