About Conference There will be a 3 day conference starting from 23rd  25th January, 2012 with full of scientific outputs from eminent in their field. First day will start with the inauguration of our BSL2++ facility followed by key notes and lead lectures pointing the core areas of virology. We are organizing invited lectures on plant, veterinary, human and bacterial viruses followed by oral presentations by the participants. The poster presentations will be kept open for second and third day. The third day will be concentrated on the Viral Technology, Industry - Academia interface and policies, either issue will be discussed through 3 lead lectures and followed by panel discussion by eminent personalities in the field.
Eminent scientists working in the field of Plant, Veterinary and Human Virology will be attending the scientific sessions. Some of the key speakers will include Dr. M. Rajasekhar, Dr. R. K. Jain, Dr. G. P. Rao, Dr. Vidya A. Arankalle, Dr. Smita Kulkarni and Dr. S. K. Raj. In addition to these sessions there will be approximately 40 paper presentations by participants during this 3 day conference. The Scientific sessions will start with encompasses the following areas:
• Plant Virology
• Veterinary Virology
• Human Virology and Bacteriophages
• Virus and Climate Change
• Industry, Technology, Policy and Acedemia - Panel Discussion
Call for Papers
We take this opportunity to invite you to communicate your scientific findings in the related areas with your peers and colleagues.
• There will be oral and poster presentations in which selected papers will be
included.
• Participants are requested to submit their paper / poster abstract along with full paper (wherever applicable) via email to convir.vsbt2012@gmail.com mentioning their paper / Journal title as subject line by 10th January 2012.
• Author selected for an oral presentation will be required to make the presentation in MS PowerPoint. Participant will be provided 10 minutes to present their paper including 2 minutes for interaction.
• Author selected for poster presentation will be provided a space of 3 x 4 sq. ft (approx.).
• Acceptance of paper / poster would be the final decision of our Scientific Committee.
