Short term training programme approaches to safety and quality in food Processing

SHORT TERM TRAINING PROGRAMME
APPROACHES TO SAFETY AND QUALITY IN FOOD PROCESSING
13.02.2012 – 17.02.2012
The training programme would focus on the theory and practical / demonstration of the following aspects:
 Food regulation  – National & International
 Quality management system for food industry
 Common adulterants & some quick detection tests
 Analytical methodology for health hazardous contaminants (aflatoxin, pesticide & toxic heavy metals
 Overview of current labeling practices
 Metrology in food analysis
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
  • Knowledge of the subject under focus, preferably a basic degree. The medium of presentation and interaction is in English.
  • TRAINING CHARGES PER PARTICIPANT : TRAINING FEE OF Rs. 7,250/- (INCLUSIVE OF FOOD & ACCOMODATION)
  • Training charges may be paid in the form of DD favouring “Director, CFTRI, Mysore"
